Guenther Steiner is one of the standouts in the Netflix series Drive to Survive. This will give him a whole new fan base around him, but according to the Italian team boss of Haas, this is not so important. He tells that to Crash.net.

The streaming service brought out the fourth season already this year. Once again, Steiner stood out with his statements made in the series, but he still hasn’t watched a single season himself, he admits. Steiner says he finds it much more important to focus on the team’s performance.

“My job is running on an F1 team, it’s not being an actor,” Steiner stressed in the interview. “As much as people say ‘oh you are a good actor’ – no, I am not an actor, I am doing my job. That’s maybe the difference. I always say I am too ugly to be an actor.”

Collaboration between Haas and Magnussen goes well

Haas took the decision prior to the season, due to the Russian war in Ukraine, to part ways with Nikita Mazepin and allow Kevin Magnussen to return. The latter driver has been in excellent form this season and has finished in the points several times. The Dane stated earlier that he did not have to think about it when Haas called him.
